Morning Revelation

God is not subject to us. We are subject to him. If we hold God as "whoever He is" to us we've distorted Him, placed Him in a box and have a totally messed up understanding of Him. When God is subject to us it looks like this: you are angry and unforgiving, then God is an angry God who is unforgiving of the things you do. You can't love someone then God surely can't love you.

But when we are subject to God the heavens are open. God is love so we are able to love. God is healer and He has given some the gift of healing. God is a god of order and has therefore given some the gift of administration. God is king, our master, our leader and has given those gifts of leadership. God is our shepherd, our teacher and he has gifted some with teaching and shepherding (pastors and teachers). Being subject to God is stepping aside and allowing God to rightly be Him in everything and being who He says we are and reflecting who He is.

We were created in His image, not Him in ours. Let's not get it twisted.
